Proof Positive

What a funny "365" moment I had this morning! I came to my computer desk to get my camera, and of course checked my email. There was a comment from Richard Saffold teasing me with the question about when I was going to be making a bacon and waffle breakfast (for the cast of "Haven"..yah right, Richard!) How could he have known that at that very moment, I had that very breakfast underway for our little walking group, since it was raining outside and morning brunch become a cozy alternative. So here's the evidence of Richard's psychic powers and how we seem to have no secrets within our little community!

I was considering doing a collage that included everyone around the dinner table tonight, too, as we went on to spend the afternoon running errands together, and that turned into dinner plans, and wound down out back on the patio, having philosophical discussions over glasses of wine as we watched the sky grow dark and bats fly through the yard. I'm really not ready for summer to come to a close...
what a lovely set-up!! i'm living vicariously through your day!! (: and i'm sure not ready for the end of the season either.
love getting a glimpse into your (and this community's) life through photos. what a gift!

I must agree with Brett. You guys sure seem to have an enjoyable and wonderful life up there. You seem to be so joyous and ready to do whatever may come along. I sense you enjoy spontaneity. It is a joy following your daily travels through your photos. You seem so hospitable.

Funny how that worked. It sounds like you had a wonderful day, despite the weather.

Man, I'm so envious of your time there. What a fabulous way to spend the summer. The table looks delightful! I can almost smell the food and it's making me hungry LOL.

This post reminded me of chicken and waffles. I actually tried it recently and I loved it, even though it sounds odd.

I'm so sad that summer is almost over already!

I'm glad you and the crew were able to make the most of a rainy day. A glass of wine and conversation on the patio sound like the perfect ending to the day! I love how Dill is looking up at the table as much as to say, "where's my plate?". Too cute!

Love the way Dill is looking longing for a bit of that bacon?
August 18th, 2010
Nice looking food Louise. You did such a nice job focusing in on them eating brunch that I did not see Dill in the picture. My powers of observation this morning must be slipping.
August 18th, 2010
Your days always sound so happy and full of joyful human companionship (and Dill of course!) It will be sad to see summer wane (not that we've had much here) I think we all feel we've been travelling around with you...thanks.

I know what you mean about summer ending. I finally got up to Maine to visit. LOVE, LOVE going but HATE leaving. And I only got there once this summer. But it does give you something to look forward to during those long cold NH days and nights. Summer, Maine, and friends.

what a cozy shot! nothing like starting off the day with good friends! look at dill there...patiently waiting for a scrap of bacon!
August 18th, 2010
Why was Dill's place at the table empty? Had he already finished and cleaned up?
August 18th, 2010
I love how Dill is watching, waiting, and hoping for some bacon to fall in front of him!
August 18th, 2010

Louise, Louise...what are we going to do with Richard now that he's been called out as a psychic superstar? Now he'll be making comments on our photos the day BEFORE we even shoot them!

What? No French Crepes? :-)
August 18th, 2010
I love how Dill is begging like a dog--too funny! How's his eye? (I like watching the bats come out at night too--love the way they fly)
August 18th, 2010
Thank you for the suggestion regarding my profile picture. I will work on a cropped version of this for a new profile picture. :-)
August 19th, 2010
You definitely know how to show a guy a good time! (Or in this case 3 guys) BTW How did you know about my international fame? I got a comment from a 365-er informing me. Otherwise I certainly wouldn't have known. I have a "call" into Bruni to translate for me!
August 19th, 2010
Lousie Thank you for your kind and lovely comment. You say the nicest things.
August 19th, 2010
Greaaat shot! :D
August 19th, 2010
I uploaded the picture but didn't care for how it looked. I think it needed more background. But I did find this one from the Aug 8 which I think looks much nicer. What do you think?
