I'm Going to Overlook the Obvious and Just Tell Everyone *THANKS* for Making Today a Wonderful Birthday!
I'm one of those people who's never minded birthdays and am actually grateful for each additional one! I had a wonderful day, making a cake for tonight's dinner that has become an annual event to celebrate the four summer birthdays of Ken, David, Billy & me. We had a wonderful meal with all the trimmings and whiled away the evening with good conversation and after-dinner drinks. The hour was getting late when we all said good-night and I came to my computer to select my day's photo and read my email.
While I'd seen a few very sweet birthday notes in the afternoon, I wasn't prepared for what you all had left for me tonight... and that was *before* I saw the thread Slava had started. *Thank You* for caring enough to do that for me, for I've loved every minute I've had contact with each of you, getting to know you in this fashion and looking at your wonderful pictures! Back in January, with one little photo, I never anticipated I'd find a community like you all or that I'd have such a birthday!
I'm completely aware that tonight's photo went terribly wrong somehow (???), but I wanted you all to share in the birthday-cake moment. It was Billy's birthday on the 16th, and mine's the 19th and Dill's an honorary Leo, too! Photo aside, it was a perfect day, and in the scheme of things, I couldn't ask for more!
A Very Happy Birthday to you...and to Billy too! I hope someone slipped Dill a little piece of cake too! Wishing you many many more wonderful Birthdays!

I have to say...that cake looks much better than the one the boys made for you and I'm sure it taste better also...lol. I'm glad you enjoyed your day and I think this is a wonderful birthday photo!

Dill looks a little uneasy about those candles!! It was nice of Billy & you to include him! I can't figure out how those extra flames ended up in there but it's actually pretty cool!! : ) Happy Birthday again and to Dill & Billy.

You made your own birthday cake?! That's odd. You should have just relaxed and told your husband to make you one. Haha, no, just kidding it's acually probably what I'm gonna do for my birthday. Allow me to add my good wishes, too. You have the same birthday as my dearest friend. We celebrated his b'day last night also. His 96 year old father treated us all to dinner at a very nice local restaurant famous for its seafood. I cheated though (was short on time is my excuse) and rather than make a cake, bought an ice cream cake at Bruster's.
P.S. I'm so sorry for flooding your email with 365 updates. I usually like to look through everyone's whole album once I follow them and just had to comment on a bunch of your photos. :)

I know i have "disappeared" for a while and disappointed many people... i was so excited to share my vacation photos when I came back only to find out that my computer totally crashed, and with work and some personal stuff to deal with, it just got carried away... sounds like a load of crap but unfortunately it is what it is :) now I'm over with all the feelings, i will reload whenever it happens... enough of me, happy belated birhtday my dear!
