Thanks-Giving Day! by Weezilou

Thanks-Giving Day!

Wow guys! You've taken an already amazing day and blessed us beyond measure with the notes you've left! At the outset, when they began to come in, I tried to leave my notes of appreciation until after midnight, but couldn't keep up with you! Truly, it was an overwhelming outpouring and I've shared it with all the family, including John who sent it to his folks as well. I can think of no nicer gift than your thoughtful words and what you've all shared with us today. From all of us, *Thank You*!

Our son-in-law, John, does programs for House of Blues and he and Ashley thought it would be a nice occasion, on our arrival in town, to attend the Gospel Brunch downtown. As you know about the turn of events, John and Ash were predisposed this morning, but wanted us to go and enjoy the show. What a wonderful occasion to sing praises and "Oh Happy Days!" for all that's just happened! (Our seating was in front of the sound board, but I stepped behind it and liked the perspective from that vantage point.)

Did I get more baby pictures? But of course, but I'll try to moderate the outpouring! The new family came home in the early evening and I made dinner and we took it over to them. I'm so proud of how comfortable my kids look in their new role as parents, and as all you Grandparents already told me, I can already see, for Ken and me, this is the start of something pretty awesome!
oh great colour and composition..! Nice thought provoking comments too!

Love Gospel singing. This reminds me of my favorite club in NYC BB Kings. They also have Gospel singers on Sunday. Glad you had a great time and the perspective of your photo is wonderful.

Wow, made me miss gospel singing too. And what a nice way to celebrate the wonderful gift of family. I could feel from your notes how happy you are. Your 365 family is happy to be with you in this wonderful beginning. God bless you : )

Well, I'm sure you had a wonderful time, and such an occasion gave you much reason to sing the songs of praises that the performers surely offered during their performance. I'm so happy that everything is going well for the new family, and it is going to be a wonderful experience as I'm sure you already suspect. Have a great day.

hehe, thought you were directing the show!

I’ve read about a father who took a picture every day of his child – wish I had done that - at least for the first year. They change so much every day! Btw, grandparents are moderate in nothing! Probably my biggest challenge is to not give my grandchildren the moon when all they asked for was a tiny star. Great shot – what a great way to spend time – any time!
