On a morning when I would have liked to have curled up with the newspaper and another cup of coffee, I couldn't resist the opportunity to get some pictures now that the weather is changing. That's the Lunenburg Academy in the background, and it sits alongside a graveyard that was once called Gallows Hill. Can you imagine that this building has been a grade school for over 100 years? I'll bet the kids could tell a lot of ghost stories about their time spent there!

@lisaconrad It actually was used in the movie Dolores Claiborn with Kathy Bates, so I guess someone else thought it would be a good backdrop for a thriller, too!
It looks like it could have been an elementary school for Harry Potter ~ pre-Hogwarts. What a lovely composition depicting a foggy autumn day. Love it!
