It was a full and excellent day and just look at the climax! Ken and I drove home from a lovely afternoon in Halifax, and along the way we drove through a downpour that let up as we reached Lunenburg. I saw signs pointing to the base camp for the movie crew in town to film another in the "Beethoven" series ("Beethoven's Treasure").so we took the beautiful drive along the water out to The Ovens. On return, the sunset became spectacular, so we pulled into the first place I knew I might get some nice silhouetted pictures. I paid in blood for the pictures I got...the mosquitos were vicious! It was so worth it! I've amassed photo memories this summer to last for a lifetime! We're truly blessed here, and I don't take that for granted!
Well it was definitely a royal ending. The colors were so rich. what a great pay off. A nice rub down with alcohol may help the itching, though it will dry your skin
@mhatch If you are interested in seeing some of this beautiful region, the "Haven" series is filmed around here (SiFy channel) and "Lizzie Borden" was filmed this summer, and is supposed to be on Lifetime around October. (My take is that it's a good Halloween movie)...
