I'd recalled seeing a photo of a prop plane on 365 back before our trip, so with that in mind, I took a number of pictures from where I sat as I flew from Honolulu to Lihue, Kauai. It was a little surreal, as though in a time warp...they even loaded the passengers to fill the seats furthest back to balance the load. With a lot of open seats in front of me, I was still in the first row of passengers. I'd considered moving forward during the flight for a better view, but realized I had a marvelous opportunity for some fun photo footage! @chard Yes...I completely agree! I thought abut calling it "Twilight Zone" because I felt as though I was out of another era, looking down into the present!
Thank you for your nice comment on my Haiku shot. One of my best friends is vacationing in the Hawaiian islands now. Are you still there? She also took a photo of the prop plane. I remember flying on one from Oahu to Kauai back in the 60s. Love how you put together this whole scene and it's a fav.
