Every afternoon I've tried to capture the beauty of the day lilies. The deep orange ones are too garish for my taste in that afternoon sun though I can photograph them easily. This one was harder to come by, but I think we had a meeting of the minds this afternoon. As with all the golden hour photos, I've done very little post processing so as to study what I was able to capture at the outset..."apples and apples" if you will... Like all the wallflowers in life, they're unassuming, but hopeful...and quietly, they dream big.
