For the landscape challenge, I'm pulling this from 9 October when we went to The Annapolis Valley with our friend, Mike, for a couple of days. I was surprised to see I'd only posted one photo from that trip (as I had so many), but I had no time to spend on the computer, and the days passed... This was near the village of "Old Barn" (I loved that name!), not far from Parrsboro, the next biggest town...
I'm sending this splash of warm colours to you, my Canadian friends, digging out of the recent snow storms... Remember when???
9 October 2014 for the current Landscape Challenge
@summerfield Why thank you Mz Vickki! There's a 365 story behind it from back in 2010. I sometimes think I should update it, but it was a very sweet time in this community...so again, thank you!
Louise it's unreal that we posted a pic of the same area on the same day from a trip from past fall that we took almost at the same time. This is beautiful, the colors are wonderful. Next year we might go a little later to see the colors. We went to the Cabot Trails in Cape Breton Nova Scotia which was just spectacular. I can imagine being there when the colors have changed, supposevely lots of photographers go there in the fall for the colors. Fav !!
Lovely! Love the golden tones and nice detail and textures. Yes, it sure doesn't look much like that here now! I posted some snow pictures for you Louise - we have lots of the stuff! fav by the way.
