Earlier in February, a group of us 365 photographers met in San Juan Capistrano. an old California Mission http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2015-02-08 We had such a good time, that when Ken had a meeting in San Diego, we contacted Joy @joysfocus to meet us, and in turn, she brought along Joe III @thirdjoe. This visit took place in Balboa Park, site of the 1915-1916 Panama-California Exposition, and presently celebrating it's 100th anniversary. It's a beautiful site for photography, and together, we enjoyed a nice visit, sharing camera information & instructions and then had a delicious dinner in the park before parting and promising to meet again soon!
@aglennc I'm sorry now that we didn't contact you! As it was, Ken had an 11 AM meeting, so he dropped me off at LaJolla Cove. From there we went for a light lunch and to Balboa Park. Initially he wanted to head home by 6, but quickly realized what a foolish idea that was, in the height of rush hour! In all, it was a day we had to be there, so I just contacted Joy and she in turn asked Joe to join us. You'll enjoy meeting him, too, one day.
@Weezilou Our traffic rule for gong and coming to/from San Diego..... Don't leave home before 9:30, and if we can't be out of town and on the way back home by 2:30, 3:00 at the latest, have dinner down there and come back after 6:00 or so. We beat the rush hour traffic that way. However, we do have to forgo that idea now and then -- and would do so for a 365 meet up.........
@stray_shooter I'm relatively handy with PS...want to join the crowd? (Already Anita gave me what -for for not inviting them to join us!) And yes, don't they look awesome? I did not elevate the picture when Ken took one of me with them... ...so...where are you headed next...and when? (We're leaving with the Carp family for Maui on Sat)
