Obviously I Can't Leave Well-Enough Alone ...

Our lovely neighbors brought supper to the house and stayed to join us at the table and have a good visit. I find Friday evening here on 365 to be slow, so instead of posting a photo I was going to make a card to send her a thank you. (She loved seeing the hummingbirds in the yard, and Ken took them over to see the new baby). Now that I have played-with-this-to-pieces, I decided to fill in today's slot. This is not exactly the same photo of the hummer I posted a few days ago.

Are you having fun? I'm keeping myself entertained!
I love it, Louise. How lovely it is when neighbours bring food when one is incapacitated.

@joansmor @shesnapped Thank you so much for the thumbs-up regarding this as my card. I've spent time with my neighbor, Avis, showing her how to make cards on Shutterfly, and she likes what I make. Having just enjoyed the hummers visiting the feeders before dinner, I'm sure she'll enjoy this...

We have a new baby in our ficus tree near our front door. Just noticed the new nest a few days ago, now babies..... New life! Saturday now, and I'm trying to catch up with some commenting. Taking a four day trip to Yosemite, being picked up at 8:15.

@cashew Oh thank you Kathy! I'm milking my convalescence and adding texture to any number of photos! I never had much time for that before now, so if happy pleasure builds good bones, I'm on the mend! A bit longer, but the faves and friendship here delight my days! Thanks!

I love this, looks beautiful, and the texture you added looks perfect. This really should be a framable print. I have to try adding more textures to my pictures.

@dailypix Thanks Susan! My early efforts I learned from a youtube video, but I'm finding it's quite simple, and textures to use are everywhere! The hard part is stopping in time!

I got your email & photo and will reply soon. Again, ♥thanks so much!!!
