I recognize that this is only "a snapshot photo" for my personal journal, but there's both "a really cool story" and a funny one as well within this circle.
I don't usually use full names, but Glo McNeill, at the center made a name for herself on national television a couple years ago when she won the Food Network Grand Prize, "Recipe to Riches". She even has her caricature on the commercial product in stores. We've been friends since nearly the day we arrived in town when we'd come to visit, and her daughter (who let me know she was ducking the camera) has been my neighbour in two different homes through the years.

The funny story is in regard to Ericka, on the left. She and her husband make fabulous rustic birdhouses, signs, feeders, & garden decorations that all sell out before the end of Day One. We met last year when I was scooping up items for my yard & for friends. She asked where I was from and, being from so far away, I said, generically, "Orange County, California". She was very excited to meet me and said her guilty pleasure was watching "The Real Housewives of Orange County"! Now I don't mind telling you that those women don't come close to reflecting the life we lead there! No drama, no Botox, no bling and no Plastic Surgery!!! But in Ericka's behalf, "I get it"... From this perspective it might seem like a pipe dream, but it doesn't reflect real life there. We've swapped email addresses and will continue to stay in touch; she's a darling gal!
And who is that young lady in the back smiling for the camera? I'd call it "Polite Photo Bombing Nova Scotia Style"!
