To have a scallop dinner and a lobster dinner were high on Vikki's @summerfield list while visiting! As our neighbours, Billy & David watched the house & looked after the cat, Dinah, in our absence, we invited them to join us. Billy is also willing to cook lobster, where as I am not! The evening air was perfect and a beautiful place to sit out on the back deck. When we'd made our way through the dinner, we brought out Godiva chocolates and Ice wine that Vikki had brought and I added some pralines to the mix. What a meal!
Afterward we dropped in to hear the music at the summer's last Kitchen Party, all to my liking and the day, ubiquitous Lunenburg and the best it had to offer!
@salza Couldn't agree more! Vikki was kind enough to bring two tins so that I could generously pass some around and still have one to savour later at leisure (...a word I need to look up...can't recall what it means!) Must have Ken pick up some more Ice Wine...the pairing tasted SO good!
