Camouflage ... by Weezilou

Camouflage ...

...and that's the way she likes it!

She loves to have us play with her and toss leaves on her, but in a flash, she'll pull a disappearing act, and as we look for her, she launches her attack! She's the funniest little kitty! For those concerned about her care this winter, we have people waiting in line to adopt her!

I've explained her "on loan" status, and I'd like to have her back next summer to entertain the grand kids!
What a great arrangement to loan out a kitty! Especially one as adorable as this one.

Dinah really blends into the camouflage. But Ken, not so much.

Very cute - what's her story? Did she just arrive at your doorstep one day? What happened to the cat I saw last year at your place? Sorry I don't have time to scroll through your pics - I'm sure you have explained it.

@bluespirit @joysfocus When I said once to Joy that I have "Summer Cats That Aren't Mine", she suggested a story book...and I rather concur! (In my spare time, you understand!) Kass, you're remembering Fred, a fabulous cat that we knew lived two doors down...but his folks were seldom home. This summer they've been around and seem to have reeled him back in! (we spot him out once in awhile) We ran into Dinah, here, almost immediately upon arriving, and she was SO friendly! I was talking to a neighbour as I scooped up the cat and said, I think I've just found my summer kitty! What a didn't realize is that I now believe she had already selected me! All the neighbours agree she has no permanent home, though we took her to be spayed, and it had already been done! She's gotten her shots now and is in good health. Just got a note from a friend who suggests "Team Care" for Dinah which is fine by me. She seems very adaptable! I just would like to have her back upon our return, and we HAVE paid our dues for her! I'd thought of bringing her to CA, but when we leave to come here, then what? It will work out. We've got many good friends and neighbours who know how much I love my visiting animals... So for the present, you are now up to date! (We look forward to another visit with you and Rob, and maybe one day we can share a cup of coffee at *your* beautiful new dining table!)

I'm sure one with that kind of personality it won't be difficult to find a family willing to care for her

what a sweet little thing. I'm sure she will be waiting for you when you returnn. Are you able to take cats back and forth across the boarder or do they have to have long periods in quarrantine.

Lady Di is such an adorable kitty, and blends in so well with the autumn scheme....they are definitely her colors!! I am so glad she has other homes and loving people waiting to spoil her for the winter, but I do wonder if her personality will be different next year!! And, yes, I know exactly how loath you are to leave this place for any period of time....I wish you a happy return, even though you haven't left yet!!

Great shot of Ken playing with the cute cat.
The main different between those two mills is that the second mill is higher . It has a floor more so they have to make a (wooden) floor around the mill to be able to turn it to the wind. On the first pic. they can do it on the ground.
The mill I use to have exhibitions in in our former city has three floors more. It was build in the centre of the village and has to catch the wind above the roofs of the houses.

Ah sweetie.

@Weezilou Thanks for the recap! You and Ken are more than welcome at our new cottage! It will be awhile before it's finished, since we are doing all the work ourselves. But it truly will be a labour of love (and sweat equity)!
