@pamknowler I love that you inspired me to get out the big Nikon again and make bracketed photos! We'd had two days of hard rain and gale-force winds, so this was the peace that has followed! (I'm enjoying time now to blend the HDR pix as I stayed the course this morning/afternoon and cleaned and tidied two cupboard projects that were in great need!)
@golftragic That's the location of the UNESCO site across the street from me. I love having the flags there...5 of them, I think... The Canadian flag gives such a nice sense of place...
@golftragic UNESCO sites are designated by the United Nations and Lunenburg's designation is this it's the best example left in NAmerica of British Colonization. The streets are laid in a perfect grid, and it didn't matter of there was a hill or a tree in the way...they kept moving forward!
@cruiser It's happening out there again as I write...but I'm looking across the room at the spooks at the window! (I'm going to miss them...I love their grins!)
Love that song. The students sing it for chapel. Also love the flags, the colors, the textures, the sky, the way the foliage frames the scene. For all these reasons, I marked this a fav.
@allie912 Thank you Allison! I looked at that scene and it seemed the very essence of the joy we feel when singing that song! (The flag was a surprise gift for me when I uploaded the picture! I love that it gives the scene a sense of place!)
