@Weezilou I never saw the movie either but I understand that it was one of the hymns the band continued to play as the boat went down. Always makes me feel a little sad when I hear the tune. But glad the passengers had that to turn to in their time of need.
@gilbertwood I was wondering how others might be seeing it from below! This vantage point made it irresistible, but I was taking it through a double pane of glass, so close-ups were not very good.
i might have seen this if the thick clouds didn't overstay their welcome. hope you and ken are well rested now. oh, what am i saying, you're going to be buy for Christmas! miss you, my lady. ♥♥♥
@joysfocus Thanks Joy! I didn't have to do a thing to this, and for two hours as we flew to Chicago, the colors hardly changed! It was a nice gift as we left Lunenburg in the rearview window!
@Weezilou More like 80% retired. I keep trying to quit completely, but still get drawn in for little tasks here and there. The spare change works nicely for buying new cameras. ;-)
Unbelievable! Leave it to you, Louise, to capture an exquisite picture while in the air. The best I usually do is part of the wing or a whole expanse of clouds. Definitely deserving of the TT.
@allie912 Thank you Allie for the incredibly kind words! It was a view that lasted a long while and all I had to do was to recognize its beauty and take the photo :) I'm delighted you liked it, too.
@allie912 It suddenly struck me that maybe you meant it had actually made the TT! I was amazed to find it there! It didn't even garner a place on the PP, so I never considered it! Thanks!
Thanks for you visits, you so nice comments and the fav. Will try to write you this week.
