He's not the same one who was here recently...he's quite a bit larger and didn't scare off when I was *trying* to photograph him. Tigger was quite fascinated!
He ran out of food and left, but I'm quite sure he'll return later... I refilled the food dishes ;)
Oh, geez! This brings back horrible memories of a kitty I had as a kid - did not fare will when tangling with a raccoon and we ended up having to amputate her tail! Please keep them separated!
@stray_shooter That's heartbreaking to read, Ron, and it would have obviously affected you to witness that! I confess I wouldn't have trusted Tigger to go out as I am wary. However, I've watched some funny encounters with cats and raccoons (yes, in my yard, both here and in Lunenburg), but I do hold my breath.... I'm really so sorry about that long-ago kitty!
So cool. When my kids were growing up and we lived on a farm, we had a raccoon who hung out and played with the cats. Got him when he was little, he was very tame and so much fun. If there was a dish of water, he washed his food with his front paws.
