Our little So Cal group had a delightful day out together! We boarded Amtrak at our respective stops along the coast, meeting up and riding together to Union Station in Los Angeles. I let my collage feature the newest member of our group, M. Brutus @ mbrutus, and used some of my people pictures so you only have to say "You all look so great!" only one time... We spent most of our day on Olvera Street, the oldest area of Los Angeles where we had a "sabroso!" lunch before touring the oldest standing hacienda (home) in LA.
We're talkers, and what fun that was getting updates about families, travels and Ron's new lens! (Kidding aside, he worked long hours, out of town, for two weeks and rewarded himself with that beautiful lens!)
You'll likely see more of my photos this week as I'm approaching "Crazy Days" again as I see the time left in SoCal winding down with more than I can possibly do in the month ahead! Bear with me!
And to all who wished me the best since my latest medical procedure, thank you for that and the wonderful news is that the revision of meds and focusing carefully on what I eat has left me pain free this week! After 3 months, it's turning everything around for the better! Big hugs to each of you for all that!
I'll set my morning aside tomorrow to look at your photos as I know I'm missing so much! ♥

@taffy It's easy, isn't it, when we start out with so much in common! I'm so envious of Pam and Rosie getting to return for another go 'round in your good company! We've very fortunate people to gave the wherewithal to travel to meetups!
@jaybutterfield I hadn't realized you were instrumental in sending Marshall our way! We had such a good time todayh, and I do wish you'd been able to join us. However we well get together again, so you are most definitely on the list to join in! It would be lovely if you and Marshall could travel together, and your wives are always welcome to join us!

@jaybutterfield Hey, yes, we wish you could have joined us. It was a fun day, a once in a great while train ride up and back, and a beautiful day to photo shoot with friends.
What a great summary of our little time together. Perfectly presented Louise. These gatherings are always tremendous highlights for me - so glad for what 365 has allowed us to do.
@petaqui We have a lovely group of people in this region, all living within about a 90 minute drive at the most from one another (some closer). We've been getting together for 2-3 years now, and include new people if they'd like to come along. It's easy to become friends when we begin with something in common like photography, and we know a little of one another through this site. It's always been fun! (Some of the people on 365 have come to visit us in Nova Scotia when we go there for the summer!)
@karvelis Thanks for the follow! We may not have another organized gathering until September, but there's a cluster of us near me, and another faction in the SD area. As we've been here for over 40 years, we've likely crossed paths in the past!
