I love books too and I am forever buying books. I always read my kindle in bed because my eyes are not quite what they should be an d I can have the print really big! Fav for this great shot of you relaxing Louise
Love this. Just the best photo. Our bodies know when we need a little pick-me-up nap, they are the best naps of all. Tigger has spotted the suitcases so he's going to stay as close as he can to you! Lovely sweet moment in time, my dear.
Such a sweet captur! You look so relaxed and Tigger knows where he wants to be! I love books too but mostly read them on my Kindle now as my house was overflowing with books and when Barb moved in with me I had to make room for her - and her books! Lol! A little cat nap can do you the world of good! Fav!
You both look pretty cozy and relaxed, Louise. Books are the best! Not enough time in the world to read all that I would enjoy to read. I use to work in a children's book store so my son had quite the book collection! I would go to the ABA (American Book Association) convention and meet & greet children's authors and illustrators. To me, they were rock stars! Tigger needs some Louise time before you go bye bye.
If you fall in sleep you body need it. ( mine excuse) I can do it easely wathing T.V.
And: when I asked my dear Mother : am I a nice boy she answer: yes , when you`re sleeping. I hold on that.
Awesome shot, Ken..... (Figure Louise didn't take it!!) I know the feeling. Definitely could be me! The only difference at our home is that I would have a dog (or two) on my lap instead of a kitty! You look incredibly comfortable and relaxed, Louise!
@louannwarren@pamknowler@seattlite@gardenfolk@lynnz@aglennc@allie912 Thanks, on behalf of Ken who took the photo, for the delightful comments! In actuality, I'd sat down to read a book on my tablet when Tigger jumped into my lap. Soon he and I were both asleep! When I awoke from my doze, I remembered the bookworm challenge, so I had Ken gather my props for me (though I was already on my second cup of coffee!) I always loved that Biblioholism book and had it already set out to use in the challenge, so he gave me that and a pile of others from beside the bed. (My other photo of choice was me reading, "How to Massage a Cat", but it didn't ring true as that cat needs no help to relax!)
@pyrrhula LOL! Just one of the reasons I stopped watching television! A sleeping aid I do not need! Now, when I fall asleep while typing on the computer, THEN I know it's time to head to bed!
@ethelperry I awoke early at 6 AM, and Ken wanted to back up my computer, so I sat down to read...and fell asleep again! When I did wake with the cat curled up on my lap, that's when I got the idea for the photo! Ken was both my gofer and photographer this time! I was indisposed!
Love this and I so agree. I am a library manager, which is the perfect job for me. This is a great home shot, and the cat is an added bonus. Wonderful image.
Hello friend, it's nice to see you on this shot - which is lovely! I've been a bad 365'er but I hope to resolve that in the coming weeks as it looks I'll have a bit more time... Anyway I love so much in that photo - it's nicely set up yet there's evidence you've been set up like this a while, like the sweet kitty on your lap! I love the pile of books and even the rounded coffee mug with the tiger on it :) And I adore books and reading and a library so I am on your side!
@kerosene Hi ol' friend! So as you have time now to be active here, I'm heading out of town in the morning, and this is my *very last note tonight* so Ken can pack my computer. Thanks for liking the photo, and I really had fallen asleep before waking and realizing I had all the makin's for the bookworm project! Tomorrow's flight takes us through Dallas and into Boston this time as our daughter and family have moved to MA. A week's visit and another summer in Lunenburg to follow! Wishing you some relaxing weeks to enjoy your free time, and I'll be back in the swing ASAP...I'll have photos and will be grabbing time as I can find it! Thanks for your sweet note ♥
