Heather had the day off, so we filled the day to the brim! While Bodhi was in school, we took Hazel to story time at a very nice library in town. We went sightseeing in the downtown area & had coffee & lunch before picking up Bodhi. Driving home I spotted a wonderful barn I wanted to photograph! Seeing that they sold eggs, we decided to buy a dozen & ask to take some pictures. To our delight it was a riding stable and farm with, additionally, goats and chickens. The owner and her daughters were so nice and loved having the kids check it all out! Heather's happy to know where she can get her farm-fresh eggs, and I'm happy that I got some delightful photos!
On a frustrating note, I formatted the card from my Nikon without offloading all the pictures : ( I'm tired I know, and it was a stupid move to do so before leaving town! Live and learn... I'm still left with plenty to work with!
What a lovely day with Heather and the children! I love the fact that you managed to find animals too! Such a shame about the memory card - I have done the same in the past in a tired moment! So frustrating - but at least you have some pics to treasure!
Love, love this collage! Sweet times with your Massachusetts family. I'm sorry about your lost photos, I know you are glad you use more than one camera. I've had my share of camera card mishaps, for sure!
This is a nice collage to represent your day. I also recall making that mistake too, and in fact, I found some software online that might allow me to retrieve it, but it didn't work. So frustrating.
So sorry for you lost , a pitty.
