It didn't take members of 365 long to get a gathering underway! We'd picked Pam up at the airport after her arrival from London and we drove to a charming pub to meet Nova @novab for a late lunch. Ken and I are the recent arrivals from California so we three represent a nice span across the world!
After lunch, Nova took us to this gorgeous Maritime gift shop, and on the front counter is pottery designed and made by her sister, France! I also wanted to capture the book about sea glass for another Canadian member of 365 who's working on a book of her own: Susan Klassen @dailypix. I suggested Nova stand in front next to her sister's work (a better composition, but the *very* petite shopkeeper wanted us to line up behind...where we've now all but disappeared!)
Beggars can't be choosers, and at least we have a photo of the three of us! There's the chance we'll have another gathering soon...another opportunity to get it right! (NOTHING wrong with the fun we have together!)
@jyokota "Other worldly" is what I do when I've lost charge of my camera and I was trying to come up with something presentable! With Pam at my elbow for the next couple weeks, and with a new camera & lenses, I'm going to work *very hard* to start getting well-shot photos! Thanks for dropping in!
When I give up my camera my frustration is when they think they have to get my feet when I want a close up of the faces, But you have to accept the help as you get it.

May I suggest you follow Pam's pictures as she does a better job of finding time to post photos when we're together! I'll be trying to keep up, but just sayin'! That's @pamknowler On this rainy day, we had a neighbour in for coffee and a visit, and I baked this afternoon for a friend who always makes the airport run with us to and from. Hoping he'll be my upcoming photo of the day!
What a lovely welcome to Nova Scotia it was!! Wonderful to see Louise and Ken at Halifax airport after my flight from London and how lovely to meet up with Nova for lunch!! A great start to my Canadian adventure!!
