We were coming home from having a drink with friends, and knowing tonight was a full moon, I was prepared with cameras, location & time of the moon-rise. Ken spotted it first, coming up over the ocean, so we pulled over to get several lovely photos until it slipped behind clouds. With time to drive back into town, I didn't know if the moon would show its face, but we were rewarded with some beautiful photos from two more locations.
This was my favourite...my last picture, and I liked what I saw in the camera. I treasure the time we have in Nova Scotia, not the least of which is for the lovely, clear-view photo opportunities!

@pamknowler We'd had drinks with M'Ellen and Harry and knew the moon would just be rising when we left. Tonight we were rewarded! The close-ups with wisps of clouds were beautiful, but I was hoping I could put it into a good setting...which I found here!

@golftragic While it's what we refer to as "Our Heart Home", we want to be nearer to our children in the states. Secondly, without some paper-work and taxes involved, Canada allows us to be here 6 months out of a year. And last, our medical insurance and medicare is in the states, and we no longer pay for doctors & hospitals. I had to see a doctor only once up here and had to pay out-of-pocket for it (which was to be expected.) In a way, we have the best of both worlds...

@mbrutus Our desks are in opposite corners of the room, so I always give him your message when I read it! So kind of you! While I guess it's clear how much we love it up here, we will be back in the new year and we look forward to another meet-up with our lovely group!
