@mbrutus I wanted a macro lens for so long, but I hadn't gotten it out since arriving home. No time like the present, and we even have a few roses ...and those camellias! ...with which to practice!
@stray_shooter ...is that the macro lens? Checked the lens...FE 2.8/90 ... I had my 2nd cataract removed, so none of my glasses is right for that eye, and I need a prism in glasses, so I really can't see well until I get new glasses. Makes reading little stuff difficult. Doing photo adjustments gets a little tricky as well! Winging it!
@frappa77 You're about the sweetest, Francesca! I was looking at some photos this afternoon from back when Ken and I were married (June of '69) I "looked" delicate then...now I'm just "delicate" because I fall sometimes! haha I haven't forgotten that I owe you a letter from some while back! I loved reading about your family's US connections! Ken and I would love to host you and the family if you ever come across the ocean!
@stray_shooter I thought I already had that at that time. I just thought I couldn't carry a lens as heavy as yours! I'm planning to get the 400 zoom soon to practice with it before Costa Rica!
