Whenever I want a photo of the hummingbird, I just take a seat, and she'll be there within 10 minutes or less. Because of that, I haven't tried too hard to capture her image since returning in January, but I think this rounds out the animals in what I call my "Peacable Kingdom".
This morning the 2 mallards and squirrel were having breakfast together and the crows were signaling me from above. I keep giving them peanuts, but must give pasta a try!
The hummingbirds must be out in full force. I caught several of them yesterday. But unlike you, I have no hummingbird feeders in my yard, so I needed to trek to the nature preserve, where they were plentiful. And impatient.
@pyrrhula I can relate to "busy"! Your work is so beautiful, Ferry, and I know you get a lot of satisfaction from making it! (My apologies for not writing you for so long! I will do so soon one of these days!)
Thanks Louise. Do n`t worry and do n`t hurry. Patient is my nick name. Some numbers . I made them with 30 beads. 6 x 30 beads = 180. wooden beads. That made 360 stainless steel ends , 180 in s.s. betweens and 6 locks. That means: lot of work.
Fantastic! That new lens is paying huge dividends. I should have taken @terryliv and Rhoda to your house rather than our silly attempts at the SJC Mission where we ran around like fools trying to chase one down.
@stray_shooter When were they here??? If it was any time recently, I'm sad you didn't ask Ken and me to join you...OR...I would have loved to have entertained everyone here for a bbq dinner and wildlife photography in our back yard!
