Though both classic and cliche, this is an iconic image of the 1930s casio on Catalina Island that I selected to show where we're on a mid-week holiday with friends visiting us from North Carolina. On this pristine day, we could see the snow covered mountains back on the mainland as we strolled on this tropical shore! This place is overflowing with photo opportunities, akin to and reminding me of Lahaina, Maui, and Coronado Island with the Hotel Del in San Diego.

Oh, Louise! You are at one of my favorite places! It is so old school with very few cars or street lights...island style with fun shops, delicious food, great weather and pristine waters...photo opps galore! Wish I was there again! :)
