I'll Only Promise You a Rose Garden

In a time crunch again, so I plan to use some roses from the school garden for a day or two. Don't we all wish we had time enough to do *everything* we'd like to accomplish?!

"Lizzie" Update: It was decided she/he should be released again, but to Ken's surprise, he found a baby lizard in the upstair's tv room last night! He didn't manage to catch it, and it disappeared behind a bookshelf! Ken called Dylan to tell him, and Dylan told Papa he'd catch him the next time he comes to visit! Ahhh, the assured confidence of a 5 year old!
Wow what knockout colours! A real beauty! Such a busy lady! Lol! When are you home again? Fav!

Wonderful rose and the light is beautiful. I know what you mean about time ... it slips through our fingers like gold dust.

I’m proud of Dylan for releasing Lizzie! This is a gorgeous rose, the light is fabulous. I’m in a huge time crunch too, I guess it’s called “life”, ha!

Beautiful rose - love the colors. Lizards in the house! Yikes! I once put a horney toad in my mother's purse. Kids never change.

Stunning lighting on a lovely rose. Sounds like your Doolittle persona has attracted some lizards too.

Love the two tone rose, Louise! Fav. So...you get to live with a lizard on the loose in your home? What about the kitties...they might find it first!

@gardenfolk That's a possibility of course! A house is no place for a lizard to move in, but yesterday I tried to pick up one in the garage, and it's "flip flopping" was so startling, I dropped it to scurry off! They're so prevalent this year...which is great for the yard! Thanks for your notes; the rose was in the school garden up in Carp.
