While having too much fun with the grandkids and riding the family coat tails on Parent's Weekend, we're being (VERY) well-fed and entertained with delicious meals, music, a musical and an art show. This hardly begins to show the wonderful time we're having, but I had to record the memory of this spread that was laid out after a lovely dinner and before the musical! Miss Piggy, here sampled several of the small items...and tucked away a couple of those decadent cookies to have with coffee in the morning. Good thing I can still control what comes into my house because being given carte blance to the cookie jar, I lose all self control!
I understand completely. We are very good at home but just take me to a pot luck and I eat it all and of course go for the desserts first! Sounds like you are having a really good time!
I know just what you mean! We've been staying with my brother on law in South Africa for two weeks and the house is always fully of yummy nibbles! Looking forward to getting home to my spartan larder! !

@golftragic Yes, I was "found" as well, and while this was "wonderful fun" it's a good thing we're heading back home tomorrow where I'll only savour the memory for a while!
@summerfield My Kind of Party! (Your's, too, I know!) Yes, tray after tray on a long table! One of my favorite weekends at the school with the kids for so many reasons...this being one of them! It may have been our last trip up there as there's so much lying ahead...we'll be back north the first part of July and the Cal kids arrive at the same time! No rest...
