Remember June 8, only 10 days ago when I posted a picture of these two almost hidden in their nest? https://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2018-06-08 I wanted to get another photo as soon as we were back home as they're going to outgrow this first home pretty soon! I try to keep everyone away from the nest, so I may not get another. If they're close to fledging, I don't want to make they fly off too soon...
Had an Incredibly Wonderful photo-study tour in Costa Rica; I'd return in a minute and do it all again! We're so busy now packing for Nova Scotia, dr appts, and last-minute good-bye dinners with friends, it's not likely that I can reply to comments, but will try to make it up when we're settled back in Lunenburg after the first of the month! Thanks for understanding!
@maggiemae Yes, Maggiemae, those are the hummingbird babies, typically born in pairs! (I could use a cloned twin to help me do all I want to do in this "double life"!)
Great capture of this cute little Hummingbirds nest.
I found myself a nest in a bush but the birds where already gone. As I had trimmed the bush in winter I know it was a new one.
Have a save and a nice trip.
