This lovely butterfly was photographed on the day in Costa Rica that we were driven to a site where a man gathers frogs, lizards and snakes at night to share with us so that we might photograph what we might not see during the day. While we waited for him to set them up in a natural setting, I walked circles around a large bush that was covered in butterflies! There were several types, so I've had some fun going through them. Any time now I'll be working on the reptiles!
We're now in Lunenburg (have I said that?) and the California grandkids arrive in the morning. Time will be precious, but I'll take breaks for myself to be here now and then!
I hope our Canadian friends had a wonderful Canada Day today!
Beautiful. A fav. for me.
Thanks dear Louise for you so nice comments.
Fragrance of the flowerfields depend on several surcomstances. At first the kind of flowers, Wind do a lot too, for the worse or best. Often we have moderate to strong winds. And also the neighbour crops. But the country alway`s smells lovely, fresh and healthy.
@joysfocus Still considering another visit with Craig one day? We've filled our guest quota for this summer, but only have one on the books for next year! You're penciled in...
