Carpe Diem ... this won't last long! by Weezilou

Carpe Diem ... this won't last long!

No colourizing involved! Here I utilized some of the red maple leaves I'd gathered and have been keeping fresh in water to use when I want a colourful, fall table setting. (The grasshopper is from Mexico, and I have a blown-glass snail on the other side...I love my quirky additions!)

With the table set properly, we dined on roasted shrimp over orzo with dill and feta... No chatter from additional patrons nor a restaurant bill involved!
Beautiful centerpiece for your table.

Beautiful arrangement Louise and if you iron the leaves with wax paper, they will last forever (or until you toss them out). :)

@huvesaker He's from Mexico...and yes, I love him, too! (Also have a glass snail from here in Nova Scotia) and I work them into my table arrangements!
