Seems I was tapped to provide a taste-treat recipe which I'm delighted to share. Beware, however! Easy to make and they can disappear fast! (Notice how you can't see any on the dessert table at the Christmas party!) (This is a photo site after all...had to post something!)
Enjoy them, pass them around, and thanks to Ross @scrivna we can now share on other social media and even email them to one another! Nice little gift with my renewed membership!
@jyokota Wow! You sneaked up on me! I was just about to go looking for you both and your friend where the conversation began! Thanks for doing the job for me! And don't say I didn't warn you how addictive these are! (I'll be making them AND pralines for a friend's birthday on the 1st. She said he grandmother used to make them for her and it's become the perfect New Year's day birthday gift for her!) ♥♥♥!
I'm on West Coast time at the moment, the dryer is noisy in the basement where I am sleeping, so I gave up trying to fall asleep and opened up my computer to find this recipe greeting me!
We have spent our family holidays in Seattle, and we head home in many directions on New Year's Day. Alas, it is quite far from where you are! My Korea photos are from September, and I had not looked at them until this past week. It's been therapeutic keeping busy looking at photos, processing, posting, and pretending that I'm doing something artistic.
@jyokota I hope that while doing those things, you called family over to look at what you're working on... the holidays can be tough after the losses you've had. Please believe that you ARE a hugely artistic person whom so many of of would love to emulate! (OK...you were just being modest ; ) If if helps to make you feel the camaraderie, I've only looked at a fraction of the photos from Costa Rica in June and have done absolutely nothing with them (yet!) I keep envisioning an opening in the months ahead when I'll have simply nothing to do but to focus on them! (New Year's Resolution or just another year of wishful thinking?!) Get some rest...I'm closing up and heading out to do the same. The last time I looked at the bed there were three cats curled up in what is supposed to be my space!
