We're pup-sitting again; Elvis is here for a week. He lives in a large, open-concept home, so when he's with us, I recall the term, "Goat trails" to refer to the small paths through rooms occupied by hoarders. He does "fill space" in any room he occupies! On the other hand, he hasn't barked once, I don't have to bend to pet him, and he's a good model when I want to photograph him!
That said, my pet of choice is still a cat; they're quite self sufficient and fit on my lap!
Gorgeous Elvis!! He is such a beautiful natured dog and he was the first greyhound I had ever met and was such a surprise at how calm he is. I love that he is full of speed briefly and likes to relax for the rest of the time. Definitely not a lap dog though!! LOL!! So pleased he is enjoying his stay with you and Ken!!
@pandorasecho Oh Dixie, my friends who own this beauty will be delighted to hear your comment! We, who love to create, (and I know of your many talents!) would rather be making something artistic in any fashion than worrying about keeping "an exquisite home"!!! You're preaching back to the choir!
He's a beautiful animal. I hear lots of good things about greyhounds as pets, if I ever get another dog (after Maggie) I'd seriously consider a greyhound. I'm not a cat person.
love the composition Louise - what a gorgeous dog is Elvis - I am a dog person - haven't had a cat since I was a teenager - we had two - one was a right proper miss - the other was a hobo ginger who I did love
