The Word is Out!

Once more Tigger met me at the back door with not one, but two new friends! Though my backyard is often featured as a setting for my visitors, it's nice to have so many drop by for photo opportunities during quarantine!
They both seem headed to the same spot -- is there food there? Of they both want to greet the photographer?

@jyokota There *was* food there... When I heard the bowl, that's when I went to look, and the bowl is "Just cropped" out on the bottom! Yes, I do encourage them to come around...my evening's entertainment! (I was able to leave the door open to photograph them which is best ; )

@koalagardens Funny you mention that! You've got your koalas, and these are my backyard critters!

@pamknowler Didn't I know you'd be tickled to see them! I'm glad they don't tangle with cats...

My goodness. It says you took that shot with a 32 mm lens. Your were so go close to them. Did you shoot that through a window? And you got very nice detail with 6400 ISO. Hope you guys are doing well with your quarantine. There were such beautiful clouds all day yesterday that I was planning to go for a hike and shoot some sunsets. And then, don't you know, the sky all but cleared up shortly before.

How wonderful

I hope they are not going for your feet! Is Tigger a cat or a raccoon. I had a cat named Tigger when I was a little bitty girl!

Great capture of you two cute friends. So sorry that those are the only onces permitted a visit. Home is nice but now it has become a golden prison. Nearly all our country is locked. So now is our creativity work a blessed gift. (and Ina, and the garden, and the car to go outside)

Wow! Double vision!

I would think that there would come a limit to "the more the merrier."

You’re enjoying the entertainment!

@tunia This is nothing! Top number several summers back was a mom and dad with SIX babies!!! Tonight our neighbors husband had surgery sowe invited her to have dinner with us in the yard. At dusk, along came the raccoon, and soon after, two Mallard Drakes. You visit us, and dinner comes with a floor show! @danette You know it!
@joysfocus You know how happy they make me! Those faces!!!
@pyrrhula There's"comfort" in the knowledge that we've having an equally shared experience, and later, we'll each have a story to tell! You and I are fortunate to have an artistic passion for creating, so we can busy ourselves! Like Ina, Ken also enjoys working in the garden. We'll get through it...

@mbrutus With the light on over the back patio, I use the "hand-held night setting" so it's a jpg, but it gives pretty nice results under the circumstances. I was able to leave the back door open as I took the pictures and yes, they were just a short distance away. Tonight we ate out on the patio when one came to join us, and I walked up quite close, but rather than zoom tight, the better pictures were with the lens a little wider. These guys, while cautious, aren't skittish...nor the ones in Canada that visit me.

@maggiemae Tigger's my cat and is curled up on my lap as I write. I used to worry about him outside if the raccoons came around, but they're respectful of one another. Here's one from a long while back...still one of the funniest pairings I saw in the yard! https://365project.org/Weezilou/album-excess/2016-01-08
