Let's face it...I simply can't conjure some marvelously brilliant image at will! Not even by half. But some days, just putting forth the effort will see me through to try again another day! Thanks for your steadfastness, and I'll look to you for a new day's inspiration!
Very nice photo and great processing. As you say, it’s important to find ideas and techniques looking at others. That’s one reason more to love the 365 project
@essiesue Wow essisue; thanks so much! I'm currently taking Matt Kloskowski's texture course, so I began with sorting out background. I felt it needed something more, so I added a layer of text (my favorite frequent addition to my work). The next morning I took it all back into PS Raw Filter, gave it a slight vignette, and, per Matt's suggestion, picked one of Adobe's color filters (Modern, I think, but I don't know which number). I couldn't repeat it if I tried, but then, that's the fun of it, isn't it?!
