Honestly, for me, this is just a pleasing pastime! I take no credit for this darling design, and I have a Cricut machine that cuts out the patterns I feed into it. I'm quite handy with glue! I thought this design was so cute, I asked my daughters what they needed for their kid's teachers, a couple of them men (hence, the blue pinstripe in the center!)
I finished 9 to be sure I didn't have anything unworthy of the people educating my grandchildren! The kids will receive more of those little "notepad pages" on which to write their notes before putting them inside.
I'm a multi-media artist and book artist, but that work never comes easily to me. This gives me all the satisfaction of a kid with a coloring book; I make a lot of cards!
I never thought of me as being artistic until I started doing digital scrapbooking. These are wonderful. I sometimes think we all have a bit of an artist inside if we find the median that works for us. Looks like you have found it. Don't think I knew this about you before.
Love these! I too used to make a lot of cards, although don’t so much anymore. There’s a lot of satisfaction in a less serious creative outlet, like this.
@mariaostrowski Ahhh! Someone who understands! I have to tear myself away to get other things accomplished once in awhile! And yes, people seem to be filled with amazement when they see what we're capable of doing with those!
Wow! These are ADORABLE! "Faking" it and MAKING it! I know what you mean about how it brings satisfaction. I experienced that when I tried rock painting on vacation.
