Far from Southern California, where we now live, Mary and I met in college when we pledged the same sorority at WU in St Louis. The following year, 5 of us from the same pledge class shared an apartment...you can probably pick out Mary and me (we haven't changed at all, have we ;) We both met our husbands-to-be in school there and all these years later, through a couple of moves, now live just a few miles from one another! Ken and I met Mary and John for breakfast this morning and had such a nice time! They're leaving on a trip to China in a few weeks & mentioned they needed a camera to take with them (duh...no-brainer I'd say!). I gave a rave review about my new Panasonic bridge camera (having tried a Fuji Finepix and returned it after 10 days) and she wrote tonight that she bought the last one this afternoon! They're going to love it...so we're ALL happy!
Your smiles have not changed a bit! How fun to stay in touch with college friends. I have quite a few college friends from Iowa who live in Seattle with me and it makes living here so much grander!
@seattle That makes me happy to read your note...our life-long friends have weathered it all with us, and love us just the same. So glad you have your contingent in Seattle...a place I think I'd rather live after school in Iowa :)
