I seldom bring in the tiny roses, but after these served their purpose for my collage, I decided to set them in the windowsill and enjoy them a bit longer.
Thus, they've come to the rescue another day when I hardly set foot outdoors!
Thank you all! I thought I needed "something pretty" to go with the bland looking newspaper article, but I didn't expect that this would receive such a nice reception! Thank you all! FYI, that "lace" in the background is a "vase/flower holder" from Ikea, and the moment I saw it, I knew I "needed" it!
Space of roses, born in the roses,
in the roses secretly raised,
presented to us out of the open roses .
Large as the space of the hart , that we also
feel outside in the space of the roses .
@dailypix :) I love when I can milk a photo from a purchase...seems to make the expenditure more worthwhile! (It was so inexpensive and I really love the look of it! I set a flower-filled vase inside of it, and voila!
Must....get....to.....IKEA.....ASAP!! Seriously, how did I miss that item?! And, the roses are beautiful! You are so good at creating something special out of everyday objects!
Ah, yes, the old kitchen window backlighting effect. Beautifully executed! Really sorry to be missing the gathering tomorrow. I'll be even sorrier when I launch a ball off the tee into the weeds. ;-)
