A Maritime Colour Palette by Weezilou

A Maritime Colour Palette

When we first came up here 16 years ago, I was struck by the colours: Slate Blue Rocks, Mustard yellow Seaweed, Forest Green Evergreens and Red Fish Shacks. Late this afternoon, our houseguests, Sue Stephenson http://365project.org/Swazzette/365 and her partner, Deb, (a short-term member of 365) arrived, and before dinner, I took them to the community of Blue Rocks, no more than 10 minutes from Lunenburg. Like me, then (and still!), they exclaimed about the colours and the beauty. As photographers, we all felt rejuvenated by the opportunities in every direction.

My foot still isn't steady enough to climb rocks and crouch low, and yet, without leaving the surface around the car, I got some lovely photos. My good fortune is that I'll have many opportunities to return for more on later dates. This scene will be ever-changing and yet always beautiful!
Beautiful! Love the colors
