Gorgeous capture! I can totally understand why you hate leaving this wonderful place! All your photos of Lunenburg remind me of scenes from movies...so charming and magical. :-)
@allie912 I'm not sure if there are other names for it, but the house, being built in 1888 has the old glass with bubbles and imperfections in it. You can see that it ripples when looking at the posts for the swings! And it's also noticeable in the light cast through it on the inside of the window.
Such a fabulous view from your window and beautifully captured with the lovely light! I would never leave! Although I think it might get a little cold for Ken! Lol! Huge Fav -,this will be a lovely memory for you when you are in your "bunker"!
@pamknowler First laugh of the morning! "Bunker"...ha!
Ken woke me to say I might want to photograph the morning frost, so now I have about 50 more photos (low number as I still have to get my coffee...) Now I've left my first note, and NOW I'm off to get that coffee! ♥
@novab Even more so his morning with frost all over everything! Ken was ready to leave for the gym while I was on the front porch and all I could hear were the car wipers going "crunch crunch" and nothing moved!
must you make me cry? must you? i miss you and ken and this view. okay, the birds and the cat, too. i draw the line on the raccoons. :-D i know this view only too well. i stared at it with my mouth open (consciously and unconsciously) for 4 mornings in august. okay, i go cry now in the corner.
@summerfield You'll need to come a little closer (like back to Nova Scotia) so I can pat you on the back! "Crying Time" is around the corner for us as well, dagnabit!
@Weezilou - i know and i am in a bit of quandary that if my magic monkeys here in the office would choose one of yours and you win, you would have to host and you will kill me because you're too busy! when are you going back to headquarters? :-)
@maggiemae The colours are pretty great! That's what had me grabbing the camera only minutes after I got up!
@seattlite Thanks so much Gloria for your visit(s) and kind words!
