I'm going to have to research this sweet little bird! His beak is not like the finches, and I do see him drinking out of the hummingbird feeder, but around here, he's a rare bird indeed!
We also had a finch like bird hanging out on our hummingbird feeder the other day. It made me do a double take. Love the detail and the coloring of this shot!
@pyrrhula Thank you SO MUCH for the link Ferry! It's an excellent one! I checked, and this is not a Meadow Lark, but I do think it''s an "Orange Crowned Warbler" given the beak shape, tail length, spot on its hear and size. To think it took my friend in Holland to get me to research it! (I really enjoyed looking at all the birds in this vicinity! I've seen many of them over the years here) Thanks for the help!
