I'd talked Ken into buying this beautiful Clematis vine last year when it was blooming beautifully, and having splurged, I had fingers crossed it would be as pretty this year as it was last.
Mine do not look as good as yours! I think I need to move them. My Montana was covered in buds just before I came away and I am hoping it will be in full bloom when we return. Fav!
Oh! Beautiful flowers and love that bee going in for a drink. Clematis are temperamental, our extended drought ended up killing ours, I do miss it though. Might have to try again!

I took a quick look at your photos to see you're going to be posting a trek in OZ, and I'll look forward to coming back by to pour over them...a favorite country of ours!
