No one accuses Ken of not being a hard worker, but when late afternoon rolls around, a glass of wine and a book to read are how he unwinds. Clearly I didn't think to make a better arrangement of what he left lying here, but it's "so Ken" as he would have left it briefly, before settling down on the back deck for some quiet time to himself.
Looks like a great place to relax a little after (I'm assuming) all the birthday celebrations yesterday. Happy Belated Birthday to you Louise. I hope it was a great day!
@novab Oh, that was a June 25th photo, Nova, but even as I write, and it's 5:30, Ken's sitting out back with a drink and his book! I'll eventually move this photo back to its proper spot! We went (just the two of us!) for a lovely brunch at the beach yesterday...it was wonderful! Friends came by on the 19th, which was my actual birthday, so several nice days in a row! Heading out after dinner for drinks with more local friends... Did I think it was going to be *QUIET* when I got back here!? I'm waiting for it to happen! ♥
