No trouble finding this beauty amongst the branches! Harry says they typically have as many as three at a time, and he's been telling me this the last couple of years, but this is the first time I've had the opportunity to photograph one. Earlier, as we were watching him, an Osprey swooped in, challenging him, but he didn't move!
They're such majestic birds, and I'm so delighted to have already seen them a couple of times since arriving in Lunenburg! OK...I certainly adore my hummingbirds, but it's so nice to have some variety!
I remember watching that tree for the eagle but we were out of luck that day. So pleased you saw three of them - WOW my favourite bird!! Great capture!! Just look at his face!! Fav!
