Channeling Her Inner Pussycat by Weezilou

Channeling Her Inner Pussycat

I have more zoo photos than I know what to do with...and Charlie, the grandsons' cat...

Time to mix it up a little...

(That background began as a piece of lime-green marbled paper I'd made some years ago... A splash of this...and a dash of that...and voila!)

***If you look at this on black, you'll see that Charlie is not a shadow, but only sitting in the shade. He's orange and white.) ***
amazing processing, love the shadow

@dmdfday Thanks, Diane! I should have mentioned that if you look closely, it isn't really a shadow of Charlie, but he was sitting in the shade with a flat wall as a backdrop. Perfect for snaggng that "silhouette"!

Brilliant work on this!

Oh Louise, I received your fabulous card today. It is like no other! My husband gets the mail and was impressed too. When I picked it up, he said he thought it was professionally made and was surprised to read that you took the picture of the chicken. If I even make another card, I will definitely try to be more creative! Love what you wrote too. Thank you!

Fun creation and nicely done!

@lynnz Oh I'm just delighted that the card arrived! When we arrived home, Ken picked up the mail and said, "You got a post card", but when I saw it was a rooster, well, someone was asleep at the wheel! It'll go back out with the rest of the cards I need to finish writing!

One of your best Louise! So very clever and creative! You could write a children's story book around this theme! The little cat who thought he was a lion or the big lion who was really just a pussy cat! Brilliant! Huge Fav!

@pamknowler You're the dearest, Pam! I love that you enjoy my little tangents so much! And to think this just began because i had the two profiles looking in the same direction! ♥

Very creative! Once again you've demonstrated unmatched skill in editing. I'm thinking we may have to have an animal intervention for you!
March 15th, 2017
@stray_shooter Flowers? You should want flowers instead?
March 15th, 2017
@Weezilou Good point.
March 15th, 2017
@stray_shooter I've stayed the course this even and I've got about 200 images already to select from...and that's just SB. I'll have to gather more from Chicago for Bodhi's book, and I'll mix it up so they each have plenty of animals. (Whew...Shutterfly has a free book this week, but I'll have to upgrade with so many pix, but the kids will love it!)

(Back to work!)

@Weezilou Grandma of the year!
March 15th, 2017
@stray_shooter I have to work at it... "Papa" get's all the glory, but he makes them waffles in the mornings...and I'm not willing to get up before he does to make an impression!
