And She Will Have Music Wherever She Goes...

As Ken and I were driving through Halifax on our way back to Lunenburg, I spotted this impressive building with guards posted out front, so I asked Ken to stop so I could go in and get photos. He drove around the block to keep with the flow of traffic, and by the time he returned, bagpipers were coming up from the back and went marching past me! That's Ken, waiting in the car at the end of the driveway. My life experiences remind me of the line in the nursery rhyme, "...and she will have music wherever she goes!"

I checked for information about this residence, and it's the home of the Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia as well as a Royal Residence for the Canadian Monarch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Government_House_(Nova_Scotia)

I'm so excited to share with you all that 365 photographer, Keith McKenzie and his wife, Karen http://365project.org/kmackenzie/365 are in Lunenburg today and we're getting together here for a bbq dinner. No shortage of photos will be taken, I'm sure, but who'll have free time to get them posted? Welcome back to Nova Scotia, Keith!

It looks like quite the place, and to hear the bagpipes during the afternoon must be such a nice added enjoyment.
