Ah, Little Brave Heart... Just after 10, I go to set a tray of food out, and Mom pops around to corner to let me know she's been waiting! Almost immediately, she and BH come to the table, followed shortly by Mopsy. Sadly, we no longer see the littlest one. Now, as I take a few pictures each evening, it's usually Brave Heart that looks into the room. Is it him (or me, who allows this!) who is probably crossing the line?
I think it's amazing and a wonderful tribute to you both that you've gained the trust of so many wild creatures. I love that she feels she can pop in. Fav
Great capture and story. It reminds me of a family of raccoons that used to visit one of our houses at night. We'd wake our kids up to come watch as they came up to our back door and ate the food our dogs had left behind.
@aglennc You're toying with me, right, Anita? My neighbours would probably have my head on a platter if they knew I'd taken them in! I know they survive without me because we recognize some that return!|
@Weezilou Hummm! Not like desert tortoises, for instance. Once they are in captivity they can no longer be released in the wild again to fend for themselves??!!
