...and what a going-away present THAT was! And to think the clouds broke away from the mountain top only a short wile before it came up!
If you can believe it, there were people walking on the beach and they never looked up! I'm so glad I actually *SEE* the wonders around me with a camera in my hand!
@taffy It was?! Thanks! It didn't seem enough people commented to send it there! We were out tonight waiting for the moonrise but there was a fair amount of cloud cover, so it was a bust! However, i photographed an adorable little raccoon raiding a park trash can and eating chicken bones! And the Lunenburg reflections on the water were gorgeous! Not a total loss! Will you be happy when the packing is done?!
@johnfalconer Thanks John! Ken and I went out with cameras and compass so as not to miss the moment! We were so grateful the clouds on the mountain broke away!
@rosiekind Thanks, Rosie! This beach location (looking back at the mountains) is where our other daughter lives! I'm always delighted when we're there on the night of a full moon...no big-city obstructions or much ambient light!
@Weezilou Just starting on packing over the next few days and movers start officially on Friday. I've been at our company's leadership retreat for the past week, getting home tonight. Now it's time to turn attention to the move.
