I sat out in the yard for an hour this afternoon trying to soak up some Vitamin D and ward off a cold that's trying to catch me! My little hummingbird was right atop the tree again to welcome me... I wonder where she watches from, because so often she comes around when we step out!
But this was a special moment, when the hawk circled several times, ascending higher and higher, I'd never seen one over the yard, so I was delighted to get a photo showing his beautiful red tail! Others have done better, but given the camera I had in my lap, I was pretty happy!
