Surf's Up! by Weezilou

Surf's Up!

Though we'd been told to expect rain starting at midnight, it began in fits and starts during the day. We'd heard from our daughter, up the coast, that it was coming down in torrents, so we know it was on its way!

The meteorologists were calling this a Baromatic Storm in that the barometric pressure would drop a great deal suddenly creating high winds...and so they were! The water surface made for a dramatic reminder of the increase in the winds before the rain came along!

...If you're thinking, "What the heck can anyone say about water in a pool?!", I would agree, so look and mosy on! It's really just part of a news story! Thanks for peeking in!
It looks very choppy! Not weather for ducks!

@annied You noticed they're not in the photo! Earlier, when they flew off, you could see they were being buffeted by the gusts!

I was wondering where the ducks were. Definitely hiding somewhere out of the wind.

@cruiser Having just seen what Lyn Todd https://365project.org/ltodd/365/2017-02-18 did with the current WWYD challenge, it would be fun to see what someone would do with this! Like the current photo running, this is basically a stage....
