How Nice to See The Warm Welcome for the German Band!
Annually an anonymous donar pays to bring the visiting German band from Halifax to Lunenburg for a noontime concert. This military band was Gebirgsmusikkorps der Bundeswehr, and besides bringing the alphorns that are in my other photo, several men were dressed in Lederhosen and dis some fancy footwork and songs! It was an excellent hour of entertainment, and (someday) when I have the time, I'll upload some of the music I recorded that day!
