I’m starting the challenge with this photo, marking a pivotal day that will be the line drawn between “before” and “after”. Under any other circumstance I would not be getting on a plane. But tonight I am flying to North Carolina to be with my father as he gets closer to the end if his journey. He is in home hospice care and his time is short.
